The successful candidate will:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons at KS3βKS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Prepare students for IGCSE (and A-Level where applicable)
- Use data to inform planning and drive student progress
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Contribute to curriculum development and whole-school initiatives
- Support extracurricular activities and wider school life
β Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A Bachelorβs Degree in English or a related subject
- A PGCE (QTS) or Bachelor of Education
- Minimum 2 yearsβ teaching experience (British curriculum preferred)
- Experience teaching IGCSE (A-Level desirable)
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A current police clearance certificate
